Beverly's

Beverly's used to be a fabric store.  Now, you can find a little bit of fabric still tucked in the back of the store, at high prices, natch, but it's there.  First, though, you have to walk through what looks like a small-scale furniture store.  They even have beds now!!  It's crazy.  Anyhow, I did find a few things that caught my eye.

Look at this adorable cafe set!!  It has roses for the girls and it's metal for the men.  I wouldn't want this outside unless it was in the shade, it would get hot!  I told Mike I could have seen us using this in our first itty-bitty apartment and he agreed.

A hot pink ottoman with storage?  Yes, please!!  This was really pink and super shiny vinyl.  My daughter would love it.

This was at least 3 feet wide.  So cool.  I would totally use it for my coffee table, but unfortunately, it has no storage.  Oh, and I have no money, ha ha.

Next, I went to the mall to use some gift cards at Macy's for undergarments.  While at the mall, I always have to stop at this little furniture store called Vintage Furniture.  It's not old furniture, so it's kind of misleading, but it's in the Vintage Faire Mall, hence the name.  I found a couple of things there that I liked also.

This TV stand.  We have a gigantic TV that my brother and his wife gave me when they moved into their apartment and it didn't fit.  We're talking a 52 incher.  Currently it is sitting on my fireplace hearth because that's the only place big enough for it.  This would hold it, plus the DVD player, plus the Wii, the Xbox 360, and the PS3.  Yes, we're gamers.  How could you tell?

I need this.  Really need it.  Sadly, I haven't made any extra money since I said I was broke two minutes ago.  Our house is laid out, oh how should I say it?, oddly.  The dining room is an awkward space.  I entertain a lot and need seating for a lot of people.  Our table seats 8, but is a large, heavy, pedestal-based, oak oblong creature.  This is lovely, bar height, and still seats 8!  It would open the room so much!!

Hopefully we can get out of our financial rut and I can make some of this come to fruition.  Dream on, Tammy, dream on.
